Are you passionate about making a difference in your child’s education and school community? Joining the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a fantastic way to get involved! We’re excited to invite you to become part of our dedicated team.
Attached is a PDF detailing the various roles and responsibilities within our PTA. From organizing events to fostering community engagement, there’s a role suited for everyone. Whether you prefer to take on a leadership position or contribute behind the scenes, your time and talents are invaluable to us.
As a member of the PTA, you’ll help plan and execute events that enrich the Hunter’s Green Elementary community. Your involvement will contribute to creating memorable experiences for students, parents, and staff alike.
Time commitments vary, and we understand that everyone has different availability. Positions range from one-time commitments to ongoing responsibilities, allowing flexibility for busy schedules. We rate the time commitments on a scale of 1 to 5 clocks, with one or two clocks representing smaller commitments—perfect for those with limited spare time.
Here are some general expectations for our board members and chairs:
- Help plan and execute events
- Maintain up-to-date binders/records for successors
- Attend PTA meetings and school events
- Renew membership annually
Your participation makes a significant impact on our school community. Together, we can create a positive and enriching environment for our children to thrive.

Today, March 22nd, is the last day to submit money for the 5th Grade Field Trip to Universal! Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity. Payments can be made online until 11:59 pm TONIGHT by visiting https://hgepta.memberhub.com/store.
Additionally, you can purchase a 5th-grade field trip shirt for yourself using the same link! Shirt orders will close on Sunday at 11:59 pm. (Note: Students attending the field trip will receive a shirt automatically.)

Empowering Florida’s Pre-K3 through 12th Grade Students to Thrive with Personalized Education
With Step Up For Students Scholarships, children gain access to private or public schools that would otherwise be out of their reach. Students who were bullied get a fresh start. Struggling readers excel with extra support. And those with unique abilities access a wider range of academic programs and materials to meet their needs.
